Mobile devices: Mobile devices are defined as any electronic device that can connect to the internet and/or store information that is known or unknown. This includes, but is not limited to, smart phones, tablets, laptops, chromebooks, web books, computers, kindle devices, smart watches, and smart glasses. Mobile devices are not allowed in any event unless specifically stated in the PC specific rules.
Calculators: Various types of calculators are listed for the different events. No calculator which is internet capable will be allowed for any event. SmartPhone, tablets, or other mobile devices will not be allowed as a calculator substitute. All calculators must be actual calculators created to function solely as a calculator. The following definitions will be used for the Perimeter College ScienceOlympiad event.
